Smart Communications, which helps companies engage in meaningful customer conversations, has named Anthony Bennett as its new chief information officer.
Bennett has over 25 years’ experience working in the technology space, of which, 17 years was spent in SaaS communications. During his career, he has worked in senior roles at Oracle, Service Now and Nokia among others.
Whilst serving as CIO of Smart Communications, Bennett will be responsible for all IT functions, platform architecture, SaaS operations, security and compliance. He will also ensure that the company’s Conversation Cloud platform evolves to meet customer needs that can only be achieved in a SaaS environment.
Speaking on the appointment, Smart Communications chief technology officer Simon Tindal said, “As the company continues to grow, we’re proud to expand the technology leadership team to meet the demands of the business.
“Anthony Bennett is a proven and strategic leader who will leverage our award-winning technology capabilities and talent to ensure we continue to deliver market-leading, innovative products that scale to meet the needs of our growing customer base.”
Smart Communications empowers businesses to engage in more meaningful customer conversations. Its Conversation Cloud platform offers personalised, omnichannel conversations across the entire customer experience.
Bennett added, “One of my passions is scaling rapid growth cloud companies and I see great opportunities to contribute to Smart Communications’ ongoing expansion. As companies continue to embrace and invest in cloud technologies, I am excited to be an integral part of optimizing our customers’ investments.”
Late last year, FinTech Global spoke to Smart Communications about how the company became recognised in the InsurTech100 and what success it is experiencing.
